Since the Group D exam has been declared, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has now released the schedule for RRB Group D exam on Computer Based Test (CBT) on its official website.

According to the notice released, the Computer Based Test (CBT) for recruitment of Level 1 posts as per the 7th CPC will start from September 17, 2018.

  • Commencement of CBT – September 17, 2018
  • Activation of the Mock link for CBT – September 10, 2018
  • Intimation of Exam City, Date, and Shift – September 09, 2018
  • Download of Train Travel Authority For SC/ST Candidates – September 10, 2018
  • Download of E-Call Letter – 4 days prior to the CBT date of the candidate.

Candidates can log in with their credentials on dates mentioned above through the official website of RRB in order to know the exam city, date, session, downloading Train Travel Authority (for SC/ST candidates only) and E-Call letter.

CBT Examination Scheme:

  1. Duration of CBT: 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PWD candidates accompanied with scribe)
  2. Number of Questions: 100
  3. Section wise marks as published on the websites of RRBs on 29-08-2018.
  4. Types of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
  5. Negative Marking: 1/3 rd for every incorrect answer.

Candidates are strongly suggested to bring their original ID proof as well as the photocopy of the ID proof. Without presenting the original ID proof, candidates will not be permitted to sit in the examination.
