After a deliberate re-evaluation of the fuel prices, the whole country went under trauma. The fuel price has always been a major bone of satisfaction between the citizens and the central government but, now it has brought people to wrestle with their wallets.

Lately, the BJP tweeted a graph with a delusionary explanation. The graph is trying hard to compare the percentage increase in fuel prices of the country which hardly make sense. However, is to test our mathematical skills? Or the message is determined to make laugh?

Moving straight to the point, after seeing the graph people have got curious to know the logic behind the presented graph by BJP.

An individual examined that between 2004 and 2009, there was an approximately 7-rupee hike while between 2014 and 2018, and there was a 9 rupee hike in prices. You can’t compare percentage when the value themselves have been fluctuating.

Many people posted an “amended” graph and included the price of crude oil. Sharp though!

As you can see, crude oil prices jumped from $58 to $107 between 2009 and 2014. However, crude oil prices dropped to $71 between 2014 and 2018, but the price in India is still Rs. 80.73.

Evidently, the graph has given us a chance to laugh at the BJP’s loss of logic.  For the right reason, people questioned the presentation of this graph in BJP’s words.

And surprisingly BJP had no answers.
