Patanjali launches Kimbho Mesaging App as a WhatsApp challenger

The famous guru of Yoga Baba Ramdev has ventured into new business and launched their own messaging service by the name of “Kimbho” to counter the greatest messaging app WhatsApp with downloads of 1 Billion on Google Play Store. The app was announced under the “Swadeshi Messaging Platform

This service has come after Patanjali group launched their own Sim Cards by the name of “Swadeshi Samriddhi” Sim cards.

Patanjali spokesperson Mr. SK. Tijawarwala tweeted and said that “Now India speaks. After launching sim cards, Baba Ramdev has launched a messaging application called Kimbho. Now WhatsApp will be given a competition. Our own #SwadeshiMessagingplatform. Download it directly from Google Play store.”

Kimbho means “How are you? What’s new?” in Sanskrit as explained by Mr. Tijawarwala.

Kimbho app has the support to send group and private chats and will support and voice + video calls too. The app has all the functionalities like sharing music, photos, videos, location, gif, stickers and doodles and more features that are supported on WhatsApp. Kimbho as told by Patanjali has many features for customizations and fully secured through AES encryption.

You can also create broadcast lists and follow celebrities on Kimbho too.

Patanjali launched Swadeshi Samriddhi Sim Cards

Before this Patanjali also launched its own Sim cards by the name of Swadeshi Samriddhi on 27 May by joining hands with BSNL Telecom for services and distribution for Sim cards.

After the 100% launch for Sim Cards people using the new Swadeshi Samriddhi sim cards will be given 10% discounts that can be used for buying Patanjali products

The Launch of Sim Cards and Messaging service is a right way of going into the technology space for Patanjali group and time will tell whether it’s a successful move or a total disaster.
