When Now You See Me came out in the early summer of 2013, it didn’t have a lot of people expecting it to do well. Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco are just some of the actors in the movie. The movie’s clever mix of magic and mayhem was a hit with audiences, and it made more than $300 million at the box office around the world. People at Lionsgate Films didn’t wait long to make a sequel with the same cast.
When is Now You See Me 3?
Because we don’t know very much about Now You See Me 3 yet, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. Truth be told, the “movement” we talked about puts NYSM3 in the very early stages of making. Lionsgate has finally hired a screenwriter to write the script for the movie after a few years of not doing anything. That’s right, it looks like Ed Solomon, who wrote NYSM and NYSM2 and will not write the third film in the series, won’t write it.
After saying he’d be back for the third movie, John M. Chu has also stepped down as the director of Now You See Me 2 and the third movie.
Now You See Me 3 is scheduled to be released in 2022.
If two people leave, as well as one who comes on board, there may be some changes to The Four Horsemen. In a good way, Lionsgate is hiring a real big name to write the storey. Oscar-nominated American Hustle and Top Gun: Maverick scribe Eric Warren Singer has been hired to write the movie. Until now, no one knew about this. It’s thought that Singer is still very much in the early stages of writing, which means there may be no other work being done on it.
As you can see, this means that we don’t know when Now You See Me 3 will be in theatres. Since Now You See Me 2 came out more than four years ago, it’s likely the studio will want to speed up the project as much as possible. With a little luck, we might start to see a production of Now You See Me 3 pick up from here on.

In Now You See Me 3, Who Will Be?
Even though we don’t know when we’ll see Now You See Me 3 in theatres, now that we know the movie is moving forward, the most obvious question is which of the original cast members will return. People in the cast have been very busy since the last movie came out.
It might be a good idea to assume that Benedict Cumberbatch is a real long shot to show up as the bad guy in NYSM3, as was originally planned. Based on Cumberbatch’s MCU commitments alone, it’s likely that he won’t be able to play the role. But he also has a few non-MCU films in the works that should keep him busy until at least 2022. Dr Strange and the Hulk aren’t going to meet up in Now You See Me 3.
Cumberbatch isn’t the only member of the Now You See Me cast who has a lot of questions about them. People like Ruffalo, Eisenberg, Caine and Franco are in the group. We think it took some real scheduling magic to fit the filming of Now You See Me 2 into their very busy schedules because they all have a lot of other things going on at the same time.
Even as time goes on, this huge task will get more difficult, because a star-studded group like this is bound to have a lot of projects on their dance cards.
The Storey Line of You See Me 3 Is
He still wants to make Now You See Me 3, but even he is starting to worry that people won’t be interested in the world anymore. If that’s not bad enough, they may not be able to remember how many narrative twists and turns happened in the first two movies.
Magic tricks are great, but movies like Now You See Me and Now You See Me 2 are even better. They both play tricks on the screen, almost to the point of absurdity. They did so with so much style, charm, and swagger that people didn’t seem to care how many times the rug was pulled out from under them.
As a quick refresher, the first two movies were about a group of criminal magicians who were hired by a powerful underground magic group called The Eye to pull off showy heists even as the FBI and Interpol were always after them, and they were also being hunted by them.
The cast for “Now You See Me 3” was first announced in 2016, right after the first film’s sequel came out. At the time, the plan was for the main cast to reprise their roles. This meant that Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, and Mark Ruffalo would all be back. Isla Fisher played Henley Reeves in the first movie, but she didn’t return for the second one. Instead, Lizzy Caplan was cast as new member Lula May, since Fisher didn’t return for the second movie.
Is a Now You See Me 3 in the Creations
It will take longer to make the movie because of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has messed up the entertainment industry around the world. Because Jon Feltheimer hasn’t told us much about the movie’s release date, we can figure out that Now You See Me 3 will come out at the end of 2022.
In March 2020, Jesse Eisenberg talked about what he knew about the movie’s production so far. He said, “I wonder what the statute of limitations is on that kind of thing, because maybe if enough time has passed, there might be less interest in it.”
Among the main characters are Jesse Eisenberg and, since he hasn’t been asked to play the role yet, it looks like the movie won’t be out soon. As a result, Jon Chu is no longer working on the movie. This means that fans of the show will have to wait a little longer for the next movie to come out.
