Maruti plans to sell 15 lakh E-vehicle by 2030 with the investment of Rs3900 crores in manufacturing.
Maruti has a fine track record of winning hearts of car lovers from middle class to higher class and till now he is responsible for 50% of the sale of all cars in India and wanted to reach the same data for an electric car as well.

WagonR Electric Vehicle- the first “Tarzan the wonder car”
Maruti is very serious in its intention of manufacturing the electric vehicle and therefore, announced an investment of Rs3900 crores in manufacturing plant to set up in Gujarat.
The new WagonR EV will rise and shine in two deviant: 5 seaters and 7 seater car with a pocket-friendly price that is under 10lakhs. Some analysts have stated that the new WagonR EV will be accredited with both fuel based engine and an electric engine whose capacity shall be between 25-35W.
The WagonR EV will be stem from Suzuki Solio.
Gujarat –the helping hand
Due to the need for batteries, Maruti Suzuki has taken the decision to choose Gujarat as the venue for their manufacturing of the electric vehicle. The fact is no more hidden that Toshiba and Denso also plan to set up their manufacturing unit of batteries in Gujarat and Maruti is clued up with the fact that without batteries their electric car cannot run on the road.
Hence, Maruti has done his homework very well for setting up his manufacturing unit in Gujarat and near to Toshiba to successfully inaugurating their electric vehicle.
