It has been announced by the Election Commission on March 10 that, Lok Sabha Election will get started on April 11, 2019. Polling will be held into seven phases, which will end on 19 May. Counting will be done on May 23, 2019.

The Election Commission of India said that assembly polls in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, and Sikkim will be held simultaneously.
However, after the dissolution of a ruling coalition between BJP and the PDP fell apart, elections for Jammu and Kashmir will not be held along with Lok Sabha Polls.
