Indian Run Machine Virat Kohli slammed his 23rd Test Century against England, Leads India to a much-needed victory.
India dominated England on Day 3 of the 3rd test match on Monday. Kohli scored 103 runs as India declared their second innings at 352/7, which leaves England with a target of 521 to achieve in the 4th innings.
Kohli scored 103 runs which came off 197 balls with 10 breathtaking boundaries. Kohli shared a partnership of 113 runs with Cheteshwar Pujara on the third wicket where Pujara was at 72 runs where he faced 208 balls.
Hardik Pandya also contributed as he smashed 52 runs with the help of 7 boundaries as he scored his 4th Test half-century.
India’s lead crossed 500 while Mohammed Shami was playing at 3 as he was the last man to be dismissed before the captain declared the innings.
After that, the turn was of England to play where England was at 23 runs without any loss of wickets. Alastair Cook and Keaton Jennings were at the crease before the play was closed. Now, England still needs 498 runs to win which seems a task which is close to impossible.
