BSNL has recently launched is New Internet Telephony Service, WINGS in the Assam circle for its customers. Now BSNL users can easily receive and make calls in both India and abroad.
In an order to use WINGS service the users have to download and install the Wing App from the play store on their phone or tablet.

WINGS is a state-owned Internet Telephony service which allows users to make unlimited free audio and video call for at least a year from the time of registration. At the time of registration, the customer has to pay one time charges of Rs. 1099 they can pay the amount on BSNL customer care or via online service.
BSNL Assam Circle Chief General Manager Telecom Sandeep Govil asserts “BSNL Assam has launched many new Broad Band/Fibre to the Home (FTTH) plans at unbelievable prices in support of Digital India Activities and also to bridge the Rural/Urban digital divide in Assam.”

Govil has also informed the press that the user can now get a new broadband connection which will come with unlimited data download/upload per month and Unlimited Free Calling to any network in India. The plans start from Rs 99 per month for a period of 90 days.
Govil added that BSNL is always and will be dedicated to customer satisfaction. The company wants to the user to avail of all the facilities at an economical and affordable price.
“These plans would suite requirements of all customers in fulfilling their ever-increasing data demands,” Govil stated
New FTTH Plans
The new FTTH plans for a new user is priced at Rs 777, the plan offers unlimited data download, with the data speed of up to 50Mbps for 500 GB and beyond that, the speed will be 2Mbps.
The lowest GSM plan of BSNL known as DATA Tsunami is priced at Rs. 98 for 1.5 GB data for each day and is valid for 26 days.
CGMT has stated that the “BSNL has a FREE WiFi during international travel scheme that can be activated using My BSNL app for 30 days.”
BSNL ranks 1st in Assam
“The BSNL is in number one position as landline provider in Assam and in number three position in providing Internet broadband service, BSNL’s mobile share has risen from 7.8 percent in 2017 to 11.8 percent this year adding one lakh customers since February to cross 20 lakh customers. The Assam Circle in May this year received two awards for Maximum Sale and Revenue Growth” said Govil.
He further added that “We want to continue with the positive trend and have come out with a number of new schemes for landline, broadband, and mobile connections, among other services. We hope the public will benefit from these,”
The General Manager, G Murali Krishna, gave a presentation on the new disruptive plans of BSNL, Assam, in the meeting.
