Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group is organising a 12-day Free Artificial Limb Fitment Camp in Noida from 13th to 24th December along with the technical support of Jaipur Foot. Spark Minda Foundation is organising this camp as part of their continuous efforts aimed towards social upliftment. This camp is a part of ‘SAKSHAM’ program, a CSR initiative of Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group in collaboration with Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklaang Sahatya Samiti (Jaipur Foot).

With the objective to determine sustainability to the lives of persons with disabilities through ensuring their mobility, program SAKSHAM provide accessible and assistive technologies, impart skill training through on job training, create inclusive workplace and ergonomics, train them for 5S, life skills and evacuation and employ different type of disabilities.

The camp is set up at its flagship company, Minda Corporation Limited, Sector 59, Noida and aims to treat more than 1000 Persons with Disability in 12 days. It is providing end-to-end support in Limb fitment, Caliper fitment, providing Walkers, Elbo Crutches etc, all in same day and as per the requirement.

The group had successfully organised Artificial Limb fitment camp earlier too at Indonesia and Noida in 2015 and 2016, in which amputees were benefitted with 1683 fitments. Countrywide in different manufacturing locations 149 Person with disability are employed by the Group. The Group engages PWD’s with an affirmation of its commitment to sustainable business practice.
