Apply for Passport Now

mPassportSeva allows the user to get the passport being in any corner of the country. Earlier the person is required to visit the nearest passport Kendra in their hometown. But with the launch of the new app, this restriction is lifted.

As you will apply for the passport you can choose any Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) or Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or Regional Passport Office (RPO) depending on where you want to submit your documents for the passport.

A user can choose any of the 360 Passport Seva Kendra located across the country.

Easy Documentation

As far as the documentation goes the citizen of India will only need Adhaar card and a address proof to apply for the new passport.  No other documents like birth certificate, marriage certificate etc are required.

These step will surely help lots of people to apply for a passport who were not able to get the passport due to some or other documentation problem.

The statement from Ministry stated, “With the launch of this mPassport Seva App, citizens would not require access to a computer and printer to apply for passport services,”

Police verification and passport delivery will be made to the address selected by the applicant in the passport form on the app. This address cannot be charged later.

The launch of new passport app has been called as a passport revolution by Minister Sushma Swaraj.
