BMW Motorrad has officially announced for the opening of pre-bookings for its two new major launches in India, G 310 R and other is G 310 GS, from June 8th.
BMW Motorrad – Pre Bookings Available for G 310 R, G 310 GS in India
The Pre-booking services of the BMW G 310 roadster and the BMW G 310 GS adventure tourer have been officially launched and the customers will be able to pre-book by giving a token money which is Rs 50,000. For the booking of the motorcycles, customers can visit at any authorized stores of the BMW Motorrad in India or either they can fill up an inquiry form online on the official website of the company to get a callback.
Deliveries will be done on the basis of first come first, after the launch of the motorcycles in India.
When BMW Motorrad announced its assault into the sub 500cc premium segment, it created excite in the industry of the motorcycle. By launching its much-awaited BMW G 310 and BMW G 310 GS, BMW Motorrad will not only enter in India but it also redefines its segment in India. According to the BMW Group India President Vikram Pawah, these two motorcycles are built by keeping the Indian roads in mind.

Developed under a joint venture between the German automaker and India’s TVS Motor Company, the small capacity bikes are being manufactured at the second facility in Hosur. The bikes were also showcased in the Auto Expo Delhi this year.
The BMW G 310 R takes its design from its elder sibling, the S 1000 R and the G 310 GS is its touring capable version which takes inputs from the company’s GS adventure series.
The power of the new entry-level bikes of the BMW is 313cc, single cylinder, fuel injected engine mated to a six-speed gearbox and it is bolted on a steel trellis frame. The liquid-cooled motor churns out 34PS of power and a peak torque of 28Nm. The BMW claimed that the fuel efficiency of its newly launched bikes is around 30kmpl and its high speed is of 145kmph.
The bikes are having the Beefy USD front forks, rear monoshock with adjustable preload, wide tubeless tires, front and rear disc brakes and ABS as standard key features.
The adventure launches of the BMW, G310 GS gets the mild off-roading capabilities and also having the long travel suspension setup, it also having the 19-inch front wheel and some other mechanical and cosmetic changes.

In India, it is expected that the price of BMW G 310 R is between 2.5 lakh to 3 lakh,
BMW G 310 GS Price in India
The price of BMW G 310 GS is more than 30k to 50k of the price of BMW G 310.
