Finally, Motorola has announced the Moto Z3 with Moto Mods support at an event in Chicago on Thursday.
Moto Z3 is the advanced version of previously announced Moto Z3 Play. However, both the Z3 and the Z3 Play are the same in all aspects, apart from camera and processor. As previously said Moto Z3 is the advance version of Z3 Play hence Z3 comes with a better Hardware and Camera Setup. For now, the Z3 is only available in the United States of America for a price of $480, which roughly converts to Rs 33,000 approx.
Moto Z3 Snapdragon 835 Chipset
The Moto Z3 is powered by Qualcomm’s year-old flagship processor Snapdragon 835 chipset, whereas Moto Z3 play is powered by Snapdragon 636 SoC. Currently, most of the companies are utilizing Snapdragon 845 inside their flagship, whereas Moto Z3 is running on SD 835 which is quite disappointing in this case.
Moto Z3 Dual 12-Megapixel Rear Cameras
The Moto Z3 comes along with a dual camera setup on the rear and single on the front. On the rear side, Moto Z3 includes a primary sensor of 12-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture and secondary sensor also of 12-megapixel. There is a dual LED flash present for better picture capture in low-light conditions. On the front side, the Moto Z3 comes with an 8-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/2.0.
On the other hand, Moto Z3 Play comes with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and 5-megapixel secondary sensor on the back. And on the front, the Z3 Play features the same camera as the Z3- 8-megapixel sensor.
If we talk about other specifications then the Moto Z3 is the same as the Z3 Play. This fresh Motorola smartphone features a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080x2160p resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. On the software front, the Z3 runs on almost stock Android. It comes with Android 8.1 Oreo.
Other Useful Specs
The smartphone Moto Z3 comes with face unlock support, along with a side placed fingerprint sensor and is also splash resistant. The Moto Z3 is also packed with Turbo power support which according to Motorola can deliver half days charge in just 30 min. This Moto smartphone is backed by a 3000 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery which the company claims that it’s capable of lasting one full day. The handset comes in only one variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. Also, it is available only in one color model – Ceramic Black.
