The Madras court has ordered Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) to award 196, which is 4 marks each to the candidates of  Tamil who appeared in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2018.

The move is ordered due to 49 inaccurate question given in the entrance paper. After this, the Madurai bench of Madras High Court has directed CBSE to update the rank list of NEET  2018 within 2 weeks.

Justices CT Selvam and AM Basheer Ahamed of the Madurai Bench has also ordered the CBSE to update the list of qualified candidates and release it again before the counseling.

The Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed by Communist Party of India (Marxist) MP Rangarajan. He files a complaint that 49 questions in the entrance paper of NEET 2018 paper are flawed.

Justices CT Selvam and AM Basheer Ahamed, condemned CBSE and the government for their mistakes in the question paper are not commendable. Hearing the order CBSE has postponed the NEET 2018 counseling sessions new rank list is published.

NEET 2018 results were announced in the first week of June first and the counseling process has already begun.

In Tamil Nadu, about 1.07 lakh candidates wrote the entrance across 170 centers in 10 cities.

Such mistake by CBSE is not appreciated by many what do you think of it?
